Mads Øvlisen:
Speech title: Climate Change, A Business Perspective

Mads Øvlisen has been a member of the UN Global Compact Board in New York since 2006. Since 2007 he has also been the Chairman of the Danish Arts Council and a member of the Board of Directors of the Wanas Foundation, Sweden. Øvlisen also served as chairman of The Copenhagen Center for Social Responsibility and was a founding Co-chair of the European Academy for Society in Business (EABIS).

Harry Collins:
Speech title: ClimateGate: The inside and the Outside

Harry Collins is Distinguished Research Professor of Sociology and Director of the Centre for the Study of Knowledge, Expertise and Sciences (KES) at Cardiff University. He was awarded the 1997 Bernal prize for social studies of science. Collins currently has two books in press with Chicago due out in 2010 entitled: Tacit and Explicit Knowledge, as well as, Gravity's Ghost: The Equinox Event and Science in the 21st Century.

Yu Lizhong:
Speech title: Response to Global Climate Change in China

Professor Yu Lizhong is the President of East China Normal University. He is also a Senior Advisor of the Shanghai Association of Science and Technology. As a pioneer for the study of Environmental Magnetism in China, he has garnered much influence in the fields of geography and environmental science. He has lead 28 research projects funded by various bodies including, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education in China, and the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai.

Dale Jamieson:

Dale Jamieson is the Director of Environmental Studies and Professor of Environmental Studies and Philosophy, as well as an Affiliated Professor of Law at New York University. He is the Associate Editor of the Journal, Science, Technology and Human Values. His latest publication is Morality's Progress: Essays on Humans, Other Animals, and the Rest of Nature.

Klimaexpress with Green Study Tours:
The Klimaexpress with Green Study Tours is open to all conference participants, but please remember to sign-up upon registering as space is limited. We are pleased to offer two different routes, so remember to chose which option you prefer.
Option 1: Kalundborg Symbiosis
Option 2: Risø and Bevola
For participants in Copenhagen, both tours will depart from DGI Byen at 8.15 a.m.
For participants at RUC, both tours will depart from the University at 9.00 a.m.

Risø and Bevola (Option 2):
Participants traveling to Risø will arrive at 9.15, where some of Denmark's leading clean-technology scientists and researchers will present new innovations and innovative approaches to research in areas such as: transportation, the environment, hydrogen and fuel cells, solar and wind energy, bio-fuels, and battery research.
From 9.30-10.30, participants will be introduced to the research center and from 10.30-11.30 participants will visit the laboratories.
Participants will depart Risø at 11.30.
From 12.15-1.25 p.m., a delicious "raw food" lunch, composed of local products will be served in Hallingelille, an organic co-housing project.
Participants will visit Bevola from 1.45-3.30 p.m.
Participants will arrive back at RUC at 4.00 p.m., and those staying in Copenhagen will arrive back at 4.45 p.m.

Kalundborg Symbiosis (Option 1):
Participants traveling to Kalundborg will arrive at 10:30, after a clean-tech workshop aboard the bus.
From 10.30-12.30, participants will receive an introduction to ' symbiosis' in Kalundborg and then have the opportunity to visit various firms in the vicinity.
At 12.30, participants will have a delicious, organic and CO2 friendly lunch served at one of the firms.
From 1.30-3.00 p.m., participants will resume visiting and touring the different firms.
Participants will arrive back at RUC at 4.00 p.m., and those staying in Copenhagen will arrive back at 4.45 p.m.
